Coldcard wallet users face serious security risk, Jack Mallers warns
Coldcard wallet users warned of security issue

Jack Mallers, founder and CEO at Strike, is urging Coldcard hardware wallet users to take urgent action following what he describes as one of the most serious wallet security incidents affecting Bitcoin to date.

He advises anyone using a Coldcard device, or knowing someone who does, to pay immediate attention and seek help if affected.

Mallers recently introduced bitcoin-backed loans at Strike aimed at eliminating liquidation risk and margin calls for users. Earlier, he discussed how periods of decline have tested, but also strengthened, the crypto community in his post reflecting on Bitcoin's challenges and resilience. His latest warning on hardware wallet security follows these ongoing efforts to address risks facing Bitcoin holders.
