Stock-bond correlation positive for 68 months, Phil Rosen notes
Stock-bond correlation hits record run

Phil Rosen highlights that the stock-bond correlation has remained positive for 68 consecutive months, marking the longest streak on record.

According to Rosen, this trend means that the traditional 60/40 investment portfolio no longer provides the same hedge for investors as it once did.

Rosen has previously reported that the Best Ideas Club portfolio returned 27%, nearly tripling the S&P 500's 10% gain halfway through 2026, as detailed here. He also noted that energy XLE outpaced S&P 500 performance after supply shocks in 2016, 2017, and 2022, with another such event covered here.
