Requesting Robinhood to prove 1:1 share backing is reasonable, Bruce Fenton notes
Robinhood 1:1 backing could aid shareholders

Bruce Fenton states that it is completely fair for companies and shareholders to request proof from Robinhood of 1:1 backing for shares of AMC or other stocks.

He adds that if Robinhood can demonstrate true 1:1 backing, this would be a net positive for shareholders, as having more holders is ultimately beneficial.

Fenton previously questioned market fairness after Robinhood restricted buying of AMC and GME shares in January 2021, only allowing sales, as reported here. He has also stated that tokenization could make all global value tradable, unlocking capital and transforming finance worldwide, according to remarks here. These comments provide additional context for his views on transparency and shareholder interests.
