Crypto media criticism intensified by partisan divisions, Eric Balchunas notes
Partisan divisions stall crypto industry progress

Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, commented on recent challenges facing the crypto industry, particularly around ethical concerns related to personalized coins.

Balchunas stated that, in his view, the industry made considerable efforts to address these issues, but partisan conflict ultimately blocked progress. He argued that the media, for the most part, has continued to criticize and undermine the crypto sector.

Balchunas has covered notable developments in the investment industry in recent reports. He highlighted when Vanguard acquired Altruist and became a custodian for the first time. In a separate analysis, he pointed out that IBIT has narrowly outperformed VOO since its inception, despite greater volatility.
