Frank Chaparro highlights a notable shift toward onchain activity in the crypto market.

According to Chaparro, decentralized exchange (DEX) spot trading volume has surged to approximately 26 percent of centralized exchange (CEX) volume, up from around 18 percent a year ago. He also observes that 86 percent of real-world asset (RWA) perpetual trading volume is already occurring onchain.

Chaparro previously reported from the Digital Chamber’s Convergence Forum that stablecoins could grow tenfold as onchain volumes increase, highlighting market participants' appetite for blockchain-based assets (link). In a separate update, he covered Robinhood’s entry into IPO underwriting with Oura, noting potential changes in retail allocation (link). Both developments reflect his ongoing tracking of shifts in market structure and activity.
