Danielle Smith reports that Alberta has added more than 23,000 jobs, citing the latest monthly Labour Force Survey.

She notes that the province's unemployment rate has now dropped below the national average, and youth unemployment in Alberta is currently the lowest in Canada. Additionally, workforce participation has improved, according to her statement.

Smith has recently highlighted significant capital investments in Alberta. She pointed to more than $160 million invested in 23 agrifood projects in the Leduc region. In a separate statement, she noted Meta’s plans to build a $13 billion data centre in Sturgeon County, generating new jobs in the province.
