Jayendra Jog: Blockchain vulnerability similar to OpenAI verification issue identified — Blockchain faces large risk from verification flaw

A vulnerability in blockchain technology appears to be similar to a mistake previously made by OpenAI in formally verifying their Navier-Stokes solution. Jayendra Jog, listed as co-founder and CEO of Sei Labs, stated that if this issue had reached production, it could have resulted in a multi-billion dollar problem.

Jog previously commented as Sei Labs engineers completed the first full test of the Sei Giga architecture, which demonstrated advanced throughput and finality for an EVM chain. These earlier remarks set context for Jog’s latest warning on blockchain vulnerabilities.
