Jayendra Jog, co-founder and CEO at Sei Labs, announced that Sei Labs engineers have completed the first full test of the new Sei Giga architecture.

The successful test demonstrated unprecedented throughput and finality for an EVM chain. Upcoming steps include further tests and preparing the architecture for production deployment.

Jog has recently commented on sector trends, including his view that the Robinhood chain is driving growth in onchain crypto users. He has also argued that stablecoins from different issuers have distinct risk profiles and are not interchangeable. These prior remarks reflect his focus on infrastructure and risk in the digital asset space.
