U.S. PPI rises above forecast

U.S. producer price index (PPI) increased by 1.3% in September compared to the previous month, the largest monthly rise since March 2022.

Scott Melker pointed out that this figure is more than double the 0.6% forecast, and questioned how personal consumption expenditures (PCE) can be soft with such PPI data.

Scott Melker previously reported that Barclays sees potential merger plans between Tesla and SpaceX before December 2026. In a separate article, Melker covered TD Cowen raising its Bitcoin price targets to $109,000 by 2026 and $280,000 by 2029. Both updates highlight Melker’s continued focus on major market developments across sectors.
