Grimshaw joins Benchmark after LangChain deal

Harry Stebbings described Miles Grimshaw as one of the smartest investors in venture. Stebbings recalled that in September 2023, Grimshaw came to his recording studio in London shortly after joining the Benchmark partnership, having completed only one deal at the time, which was with a small company called LangChain.

Stebbings has previously reported on Higgsfield's growth to $1 billion annual recurring revenue in 18 months, citing a $4 million monthly spend on models. He also clarified in a separate note that Valar, not Day One, sought a declaratory judgment in a dispute with a portfolio company.
