TSLA earnings forecasts shift negative and autonomy risk grows, Gary Black notes
Gary Black cautious on TSLA outlook

Gary Black, Managing Partner and investor at The Future Fund, stated that his cautious stance on TSLA is not related to selling his shares in 2025, as some bulls have claimed. Instead, he explained his caution is due to negative revisions in TSLA earnings and the impending arrival of unsupervised autonomy for the company.

Black previously commented as Brent crude dipped to $105 after Saudi Arabia intercepted missiles, noting mixed moves in U.S. stocks and continued chip sector pressure in that session. In a separate analysis, he argued that Starbucks and Chipotle lacked enough brand overlap to support a successful merger proposal at that time. Black remains active in offering market commentary across sectors.
