Gold dips below $4,000 offering buying opportunity, Peter Schiff argues
Gold nears $4,000 as Schiff sees value

Gold is trading just below $4,000 as it sells off alongside the stock market. Peter Schiff, CEO and Chief Global Strategist of Euro Pacific Capital, described this situation as an excellent time to buy gold. Schiff also stated that what is bearish for stocks is bullish for gold, and added that silver, which he described as a great buy below $54, is also attractive.

Schiff has recently commented on regulatory actions, including the U.S. regulators' $1.2 billion fine to Bank of America for anti-money-laundering violations. He has also questioned the long-term prospects of major financial institutions, such as when he called the Fannie and Freddie IPOs a pipe dream after GSE shares dropped nearly 80% from their September 2025 highs. Schiff's market observations often focus on perceived risk and value across asset classes.
