Bithumb, Daishin Securities and Mirae Asset disclose breaches, Laura Shin reports — Bithumb, Daishin and Mirae report breaches

Bithumb, Daishin Securities and Mirae Asset Global Investments each disclosed a security breach on October 28. Daishin reported that 38,490 customers were affected, while Bithumb did not provide a figure and said that no crypto funds were lost.

The latest disclosures follow previous security concerns flagged by Laura Shin. Earlier this year, she reported that NEAR Intents GM Alex Shevchenko was developing Shield to address a rise in AI-driven hacks since March. Other incidents have included debates over $250,000 payouts for critical bugs in crypto protocols.
