Crypto treasury companies were built on a business model of selling a dollar for $1.50, which was not sustainable, according to comments by Brett Tejpaul of Coinbase Institutional. Tejpaul described how the DAT (Digital Asset Treasury) playbook failed when stock prices decreased and Bitcoin yields diminished.

Scott Melker, identified as Owner and Content Creator and linked at Scott Melker, shared Tejpaul's views on the decline of this business approach.

Scott Melker has previously reported on blockchain developments, including the delay of Ripple's XRP Ledger lending code update after validator support dropped. In a separate note, he highlighted Aviva Investors' launch of a tokenized share class for its £22 billion fund on the XRP Ledger. These reports demonstrate his ongoing coverage of digital asset infrastructure changes.
