Attackers used compromised laptop to access exchange systems, Quinten Francois notes
Crypto hack complexity called out

Quinten Francois criticized journalists for oversimplifying the recent hack of the world's largest crypto exchange, stating that it involved more than just a compromised laptop. According to Francois, the attackers gained access using an engineer's laptop, which then enabled them to access the exchange's internal security systems.

Francois has previously addressed transparency and valuation issues in the crypto sector. He questioned the idea that a coin is undervalued solely because it has dropped 90 percent from its highs in a recent article. Earlier, Francois discussed how a demo between Chainlink and DTCC could potentially unlock $50 trillion in assets by boosting blockchain efficiency, according to another report.
