Binance hit by record $6.36 billion crypto hack

North Korean hackers carried out the largest cryptocurrency theft in history, stealing about $6.36 billion from Binance in just 20 minutes.

Mario Nawfal, who leads IBC Group, shared that blockchain intelligence firm TRM Labs has linked the attack with high confidence to TraderTraitor, a North Korean state-sponsored group.

Nawfal has recently highlighted other major financial events. He reported on a California fashion executive who lost over $100 million in risky bets. In a separate update, he covered economists' expectations that China will not surpass the U.S. economy soon. These incidents contribute to ongoing scrutiny of financial risk and global economic outlooks.
