Jameson Lopp: Bitcoin and currency inflation chart project relaunched
Bitcoin and currency inflation charts updated

A revamped version of a 2022 chart collection comparing the inflation rates of Bitcoin and other currencies has been announced. Jameson Lopp, a board member at Casa, invited suggestions for additional charts to include in the project.

Lopp has previously highlighted that third-party bitcoin custody via ETFs does not eliminate loss risks and can expose users to further potential issues, according to a recent analysis. He has also criticized the ongoing pattern of users migrating from one centralized provider to another after security problems, as noted in a separate report. These earlier comments inform Lopp’s ongoing engagement with the broader bitcoin community.
