Mandating Qubes OS may have averted hack, Peter Todd notes
Qubes OS could have prevented Binance hack

Peter Todd stated that if Binance employees had been required to use Qubes OS, a recent $6 billion hack likely would not have succeeded.

Todd also said he is aware of several other similar, non-public incidents that occurred in October.

Peter Todd has previously warned that removing hardware wallet re-sellers can expose user addresses, creating potential privacy risks for crypto holders, as detailed in a prior article. He has also discussed possible regulatory barriers to technology adoption, noting that banks may block wallet-enabled car charging integrations, according to an earlier report. Todd’s recent comments follow a series of posts focused on security and privacy issues in the cryptocurrency space.
