Fidelity adds $236.72 million in Bitcoin

Fidelity has purchased an additional $236.72 million worth of Bitcoin, according to a statement posted by Jordan Kerridge.

Kerridge described this as another instance of institutional money flowing into BTC, noting that one of the world’s largest asset managers continues to add to its exposure.

Kerridge has previously reported on the U.S. Treasury's plan to buy back up to $6 billion in longer-term debt to support market liquidity. In another update, he covered Iran's statement that reopening the Strait of Hormuz could happen in seven days if the U.S. agrees to its conditions, with oil prices and inflation in focus. These developments mark a series of high-profile financial updates from Kerridge.
