Bitcoin bear markets linked to distinct fears and events, Alan Rogers notes
Bitcoin bear markets and sources of panic

Each Bitcoin bear market has been accompanied by different causes for panic, according to Alan Rogers. He points to hack fears in 2011, the Mt. Gox collapse and China barring banks from exchanges between 2013 and 2015, the altcoin bubble and regulatory action in 2017–2018, and platform failures and leveraged blowups in 2021–2022.

Rogers previously suggested that Bitcoin could experience a short-term rally before facing a significant correction, advising patience over FOMO in a recent note. He has also listed ETH, ADA, SUI, and other tokens as possible candidates for accumulation next week in an earlier report. These views contribute to his ongoing analysis of shifting sentiment across major digital assets.
