AMD stock seeks $565 as UBS lifts price target to $730
Following the wide-ranging Advancing AI 2026 presentation, investors continue to reassess AMD’s long-term outlook. Over the weekend, this reassessment received additional support from Wall Street.
The main development was UBS raising its price target from $700 to $730 while maintaining a Buy rating. The bank highlighted the strong profitability of AMD’s server processors, estimating that their gross margin is around 10 percentage points above the company-wide average.
UBS expects revenue from the server processor business to reach approximately $35 billion in 2027 and $60 billion in 2028.

Bullish momentum depends on holding above $526
The scenario from the previous analysis played out in full, with AMD shares reaching the $560 target. However, buyers failed to extend the rally toward the all-time high of $584.73 because of active profit-taking across the technology sector. If the regular trading session opens above $526, the base-case scenario will be a move toward the $562–$565 zone.
A daily close above $565 on elevated trading volume would confirm the breakout and bring the all-time high near $584.73 back into focus.
AMD volatility may rise ahead of key market events
Earnings from the largest technology companies will be the main source of volatility for AMD this week. Microsoft and Meta will report on July 29, followed by Apple and Amazon on July 30.Investors will assess the growth of their cloud businesses and capital expenditure on AI infrastructure.
The Federal Reserve meeting on July 28–29 will provide another potential catalyst. The base-case scenario remains an unchanged policy rate of 3.50%–3.75%, but hawkish comments from Kevin Warsh could push Treasury yields higher and limit gains in technology stocks.
