Snowflake keeps bullish momentum intact above $270
Holding $270 preserves upside potential toward $280–$285.

SNOW remains above $270, but its next move will depend on Big Tech earnings and the Federal Reserve’s decision. These events could trigger either a test of $280–$285 or a pullback toward $260–$270.

Snowflake’s near-term price action will largely depend on broader sentiment across the technology and software sectors. Microsoft and Meta will report on July 29, followed by Apple and Amazon on July 30.

For Snowflake, the key factors will be cloud segment growth, corporate AI spending and capital expenditure guidance. Strong results from Azure and AWS would support demand for cloud stocks, while cautious forecasts could trigger profit-taking across the sector.

Range breakout requires sustained strength above $270

Since the beginning of July, SNOW shares have remained within a broad $260–$280 range, indicating that neither buyers nor sellers have established a sustained advantage.

The $270 level acts as an intermediate pivot. As long as the price remains above it, the level serves as support. A daily close above $270 on elevated trading volume would strengthen the bullish scenario and open the way toward the $280–$285 resistance zone, which includes the local high of $284.99.

The main negative signal is RSI (14), which is approaching overbought territory. This suggests that the current momentum may be gradually weakening and could make it harder for the stock to sustain further gains.

SNOW faces higher volatility ahead of the Fed decision

Snowflake remains driven by broader technology-sector catalysts, making earnings season a potential source of higher volatility.

The Federal Reserve’s decision on July 29 will provide another catalyst. An unchanged policy rate of 3.50%–3.75% is already largely priced in, so the main focus will be on Kevin Warsh’s comments.

Signals of a possible rate increase in the fall could push Treasury yields higher and increase pressure on high-valuation companies, including Snowflake.
