The session opened with a gap down from the previous close but the price remains above the MA-20 and MA-50, while still trading below the MA-200, leaving a split daily structure. The nearest resistance is the weekly high at $262.15, and RSI at 63.4 is nearing overbought territory, an early indication the latest advance could be getting stretched. Despite the sharp move higher, the current price action is running against the broader bullish chart structure.
Traders should watch for a close above $262.15 to confirm buyers are willing to follow through. The strongest signal in the recent session was the gap down from $259.32 to $253.64 at the open. From here, upside probability stands at 73% and downside probability at 27% for the coming trading week, with an expected range of $244.63 to $262. Even so, confirmation would require breaking the weekly high, while a drop below $242.72 would suggest the move is being faded. On the weekly chart, the longer-term picture remains negative.
Earlier, analysts noted that Adobe's rebound was driven primarily by broader market strength rather than company-specific developments. The launch of the new ChatGPT plugin introduces a notable innovation, but with shares slipping and key technical resistance still intact, traders should monitor whether the stock can reclaim momentum above $262.15 in the near term.
