Tesla stock faces correction risk after four-session rally
Tesla has posted four consecutive sessions of gains and is once again approaching resistance near $337, but the rally is beginning to lose some momentum. Today’s U.S. CPI release could add another layer of volatility.
Tesla chief designer Franz von Holzhausen said the long-awaited Roadster will be unveiled “very soon.” The project has faced repeated delays since its original announcement in 2017, so tangible progress toward a launch could bring renewed attention to Tesla’s product pipeline.
July U.S. CPI will be another potential source of volatility today. With Tesla coming off a four-session rally and trading close to key resistance, an unexpected inflation reading could amplify intraday price swings.

Failure to hold $337 raises pullback risk
Tesla stock has followed the previously outlined scenario, reaching resistance near $337 before showing the first signs of fading momentum.
After four straight sessions of gains, the risk of a short-term correction is increasing. In that case, the nearest target would be $327.50, where local support is located.
Today’s close will be particularly important. A finish below $337 would strengthen the case for profit-taking and increase the probability of a pullback toward $327.50.
A sustained move above $337, by contrast, would weaken the bearish scenario.
Underperformance keeps pressure on the outlook
Despite the recent recovery, Tesla continues to lag other major technology companies by a wide margin. According to ChartRow, Tesla is down roughly 26% year to date, while Meta has fallen about 9%. They are the only two Magnificent Seven stocks with negative returns in 2026, compared with a gain of more than 13% for the S&P 500.
That relative weakness remains an important risk factor. Even after the recent rally, Tesla still ranks among the weakest-performing megacaps of the year.
