Snowflake stock tests $310 as AI product launches fail to lift sentiment
Macro risks and tech earnings keep volatility elevated

Snowflake is trying to regain its footing after a sharp selloff, but investor conviction remains weak. The company’s latest technology launches have yet to answer a more important question: how durable the next rebound can actually be.

Snowflake has just released its Decision Fast model that will facilitate quick and structured decision making in AI applications, such as querying and fraud detection. On October 20, Snowflake also announced the launch of Online Feature Store, which is an application that will assist machine learning models in dealing with live data.

These new features expand the capabilities of the Snowflake platform, yet their business impact is unknown. The investor mood continues to be highly reactive to the larger issues surrounding AI spending and valuations.

Holding $300 could open the way toward the 50-day SMA

Snowflake stock broke below critical support at $342, invalidating the bullish scenario outlined previously and activating the alternative setup. The decline then extended through the $320 target, with the stock reaching a low of $302.24.

The key level over the next few sessions is $300. For the technical picture to stabilize, the stock needs to defend that support and then recover above $320.

Only then would the first signs of a rebound toward the 50-day SMA near $333 begin to emerge.

If $300 fails, however, the correction could extend toward the next support area around $280.

Inflation and geopolitical risks keep volatility elevated

Snowflake is also being shaped by forces well beyond company-specific news. Elevated U.S. inflation, expensive oil and geopolitical tensions continue to cloud the outlook for Federal Reserve policy and weigh on risk appetite.

The peak of the U.S. earnings season adds another source of uncertainty. Results from the largest technology companies could reshape expectations for future AI spending and trigger fresh swings across the cloud software sector.

That leaves Snowflake in a fragile position: new AI products may support the long-term growth story, but near-term price action is still being dictated by technical weakness and broader market sentiment.
