Government IT and Procurement Solutions by Craig Abod

Craig Abod is the founder and president of Carahsoft, a major IT solutions provider for the U.S. federal government. Since launching the company in 2004, Abod has overseen its growth into a key procurement partner for public-sector IT, with more than $11 billion in revenue reported for 2024 and over 2,000 employees.

Under his leadership, Carahsoft has built strong vendor partnerships with companies such as Adobe, VMware, and Salesforce, making it a central player in U.S. digital infrastructure. Abod is frequently ranked among the top executives in government technology services and was named Executive of the Year by CRN.

While Carahsoft distributes cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure tools, it has no involvement in blockchain or crypto-related initiatives. The company does not offer products or vendor solutions focused on crypto assets, DeFi, or tokenization. As of July 2025, neither Abod nor Carahsoft have made public statements or entered into partnerships in the Web3 space.
