Cloud and AI at U.S. cyber summit

More than 400 leaders from the U.S. public sector are expected to gather in San Antonio this November for the GovRAMP Cyber Summit 2026. The event will focus on the intersection of cloud security, regulatory compliance and artificial intelligence, topics increasingly central to government technology strategies. According to Craig Abod, the summit will provide a platform for industry and government to address evolving priorities. The agenda will reflect the growing importance of adapting cyber defenses as digital infrastructure changes.

Abod previously organized the Wireless AI Summit, which convened U.S. federal and industry leaders to discuss recent advances in artificial intelligence. In a separate move, Cisco expanded its FedRAMP High portfolio with additional zero trust, cloud defense, and authentication tools aimed at government use. Both initiatives highlight ongoing attention to secure cloud infrastructure and AI integration within the public sector.
