Personal Finance and Wealth Advice by Suze Orman
Suze Orman is a best-selling personal finance author and television host who has become an unlikely but vocal advocate for cryptocurrency ownership. Orman encouraged investors in recent interviews to “absolutely” own Bitcoin—while still emphasizing caution and advising only an amount they are comfortable losing—as Bitcoin’s price has more than doubled to over $57,000. Orman also revealed her own $5,000 investment in Bitcoin via PayPal, illustrating her personal stake in the asset class. Although primarily known for budgeting and retirement advice, Orman’s embrace of Bitcoin highlights growing mainstream interest in digital assets.
Suze Orman was born in Chicago in 1951 and earned a degree in social work from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. Before entering personal finance, Orman worked as a waitress and later as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, where she developed the foundation for her consumer-focused approach. Her television show The Suze Orman Show ran for 13 years on CNBC, becoming one of the most recognized platforms for personal financial education. Orman has written ten consecutive New York Times bestsellers and received multiple Emmy Awards for her on-air work. In addition to financial media, Orman has served as a motivational speaker and philanthropic advocate, focusing on empowering women to achieve financial independence.
