Leonsis urges investment in youth

Theodore Leonsis congratulated the MacArthur High School Class of 2026 at their commencement ceremony earlier this month.

In his remarks, Leonsis expressed his belief that investing in young people is a fundamental way to shape the future. According to Leonsis, spending time with the graduates reaffirmed the importance of supporting the next generation as they prepare to make an impact.

Leonsis has previously focused on long-term potential through his management of local sports teams. Earlier this year, he said the Washington Wizards and Capitals were pursuing major offseason changes. He also highlighted the Wizards’ progress in building for the future, addressing recent team developments and extending thanks to staff and fans.
