Gate.io has introduced Gate gStocks, a new service offering tokenized securities that are each backed 1:1 by actual shares. This initiative allows users to trade these tokens at any time using USDT, access fractional investments starting from 1 USDT, and receive dividends automatically, all within their existing Gate.io accounts.
The model is designed to remove traditional market hour constraints and may include both tokenized securities and direct stock access, depending on jurisdiction. These features aim to connect conventional stock ownership with digital asset platforms by integrating real asset reserves and automated processes into the Gate.io ecosystem.
