Capital.com has released a free, open-source MCP Server plugin that allows clients to manage their trading accounts directly through AI assistant environments. The plugin enables users to access live market data, review portfolio positions, access historical price information, and aggregate client sentiment from within compatible AI tools such as Claude, Codex, or Cursor. Trade execution requires a multi-step confirmation process, ensuring that the AI assistant cannot make trades autonomously. The plugin operates locally on users' devices, and setup typically takes less than 15 minutes, according to the company’s documentation.
Capital.com operates globally through several regulated entities and caters to traders interested in shares via CFDs, regardless of their experience level. The broker offers a fast registration process, a wide selection of trading instruments, multiple funding methods, access to educational content and research tools, and support in 13 languages.
