Deribit has launched "The Headhunter," a referral-based segment within its ongoing trading competition, "The Island," run in collaboration with SignalPlus. According to the announcement, the campaign allows participants to refer high-volume traders to the platform and provides referrers with the opportunity to win specific rewards such as a Razer keyboard (valued at 300 USDC equivalent) and a Canoe (valued at 500 USDC equivalent), with prize drawings scheduled for July 13.

"The Island" competition runs from July 6 to August 10, 2026, and features a range of engagement mechanisms including daily and weekly leaderboards, deposit-based Mystery Boxes, options trading challenges, and additional referral incentives. The campaign is open to eligible retail traders and includes a prize pool of up to 600,000 USDC, with further rewards for those who expand participation through referrals.
