Binance has introduced a feature that allows international travelers in Vietnam to pay at local merchants by scanning QR codes with Binance Pay, enabling the use of cryptocurrencies for everyday purchases without needing cash or bank cards.

Binance has announced the launch of a feature that allows international travelers in Vietnam to pay local merchants using cryptocurrencies via Binance Pay. This service enables users to scan established QR codes, such as VietQR and MoMo, to complete transactions for everyday purchases, including food and retail items, without the need for cash, bank cards, or currency exchange.
The feature is available to identity-verified Binance users and integrates with Vietnam’s national QR payment systems. According to the announcement, this rollout is part of Binance's efforts to expand real-world crypto payment options, with the Vietnam launch forming part of a broader expansion plan targeting over ten countries by Q3 2026.
Binance is a cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in Hong Kong, recognized for its high daily turnover, active user base, and high platform performance.
