Cryptohopper reports that Hyperliquid and Kraken's parent company, Payward, are in advanced discussions to make Hyperliquid's perpetual futures contracts available to U.S. traders through the regulated Bitnomial exchange, pending regulatory approval.
Hyperliquid Labs, a Singapore-based decentralized perpetual futures exchange, and Payward, the parent company of Kraken, are in advanced negotiations to offer Hyperliquid's perpetual futures contracts to U.S. traders. The proposed arrangement would make a selection of these contracts available via Bitnomial, Payward’s CFTC-regulated exchange and clearinghouse. This would mark Hyperliquid’s first entry into the U.S. market, though the rollout is subject to regulatory approval and may take at least 10 to 12 months to complete. Only a subset of Hyperliquid’s crypto-linked perpetual futures would be listed, and U.S. traders would access them through regulated infrastructure rather than Hyperliquid’s existing decentralized platform.
