STARTRADER announced its STARCARES initiative has partnered with Kijana Kwanza to equip seven new family-style foster homes in Moshi, Tanzania, providing living spaces for children and young people unable to return to their families.

According to additional project details, the partnership between STARTRADER’s STARCARES initiative and Kijana Kwanza is part of the "Bonite Foster Homes" project in Moshi, Tanzania. This initiative is focused on establishing small, family-style homes for vulnerable children aged 5–12 who are unable to return to their families, with each home accommodating four children and a trained foster carer. Seven foster homes have been completed, with seven more under construction, out of a planned total of 28 homes. When finished, the project aims to provide stable housing for up to 112 children. The sponsor page also states that individuals or organizations can support the project by funding the construction of a foster home.
