Gate.io introduced Gate Money on October 7, 2026, during a keynote by its Founder and CEO, Dr. Han, at the TOKEN2049 event. Gate Money is presented as an all-in-one financial services platform integrating digital assets, various fiat currencies, stocks, ETFs, commodities, and payment solutions within a single app, accessible through version 8.39.0 of the Gate App. The platform supports both crypto and fiat deposits and withdrawals, offers users the possibility to open bank accounts for cross-border transfers, and incorporates features such as asset conversion and yield generation on idle balances. Additional functionalities include the Gate Card for making payments with multiple asset types, compatibility with Apple Pay and Google Pay, ATM withdrawals, and QR-code payments in select regions.
