Gate.io has announced the start of the World Crypto Trading Championship Season 9 (WCTC S9), a global trading competition involving over 60,000 participants and 7,695 teams, with a potential prize pool of up to 6,000,000 USDT. The event features separate team and individual leaderboards, Event Contracts PK matches, and auxiliary activities such as the Lucky Launchpad prize draw and Gate Square community campaigns. Registration opened on October 9, 2026, while the competition itself runs from October 26 to November 25, 2026. Prize amounts are dynamically unlocked based on trader participation, and eligibility is subject to various restrictions including account type and minimum trading volumes. Participants can register and join teams even after the competition has begun.

How to participate

To take part in the Gate.io World Crypto Trading Championship Season 9, log into Gate.io and register for the event during the official registration period.
