AMarkets announces MT4 downtime for performance optimization
AMarkets, a global online broker, has announced a scheduled maintenance window for its MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform, set to take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 00:30 to 09:00 EEST (GMT+3). The downtime is part of a planned optimization process aimed at enhancing the platform’s performance and stability.

During the maintenance, access to MT4 will be temporarily restricted, including a pause in cryptocurrency trading, according to the broker’s website. However, users will still be able to log in to their accounts. AMarkets strongly advises clients to prepare in advance by either closing open crypto positions or ensuring they have sufficient margin in place. Pending orders to open or close positions will not be executed during this period, and the company will not be liable for any losses incurred due to market movements.
MetaTrader 5 as an alternative and AMarkets’ ongoing commitment
Despite the MT4 downtime, cryptocurrency trading will remain fully available via the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform. Clients who wish to maintain uninterrupted access to crypto markets are encouraged to use MT5 during the maintenance window.
