ACY Securities rolls out new trading services for South African market
ACY opens Johannesburg office

ACY Securities, a global multi-asset broker, has strengthened its international presence with the official launch of operations in South Africa. Following the 2024 acquisition of Ingot Brokers South Africa, the fintech-driven broker has opened a fully operational office in Johannesburg, marking a key step in its broader African market strategy.

The expansion is accompanied by the acquisition of a license from the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) of South Africa (License No. 51008), granting the company full regulatory clearance to operate in one of the continent’s most dynamic financial hubs, according to the broker’s website. With a growing base of retail investors, developed capital markets, and a favorable regulatory environment, South Africa is viewed as a strategic gateway to the African continent.

According to ACY Securities CEO and Co-Founder Jimmy Ye, this move is of strategic importance to the company’s long-term goals:

“South Africa serves as a gateway to the broader African market and a proven hub for international investors… With the launch of the ACY Trading Platform alongside MT4, MT5, and Copy Trading, we expect this market to become a meaningful revenue driver for the group and a springboard for further expansion.”

The decision to accelerate local operations followed the participation of the ACY Connect team at the FMAS:25, held in Cape Town earlier this year. The summit opened the door to key partnerships and industry connections that are now driving regional growth.

New services for South African traders

ACY Securities has also introduced several client-focused features:

Expanded cryptocurrency trading: Clients can access over 20 cryptocurrency CFDs, including weekend trading.

Diverse platform availability: Traders can choose between the proprietary ACY web platform and popular platforms such as MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and Copy Trading.

Local support: The Johannesburg office is staffed with a dedicated Customer Success team, multilingual personal account managers, and forex affiliate program managers.

This on-the-ground presence not only enhances user experience but also reaffirms ACY Securities’ commitment to regulatory transparency and market innovation. Using South Africa as a launchpad, the company plans to scale its presence across Africa while continuing to invest in cutting-edge trading solutions globally.
