Sartaj Singh appointed Chief Technology Officer

Following a successful tenure as Global Head of Technology since December 2023, Sartaj Singh has taken on the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). His leadership will be essential in maintaining Equiti’s position as a technology leader in the financial services sector.

Rick Fulton named Chief Risk and Audit Officer

Rick Fulton assumes the position of Chief Risk and Audit Officer after two years of building a high-performing risk management function at Equiti. Under his leadership, the company has significantly enhanced its ability to manage market, credit, and operational risks. In his expanded role, Fulton will oversee both risk and audit departments, ensuring compliance with the company’s corporate governance principles while fostering growth in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Sean Hong appointed Chief Financial Officer

Sean Hong, who joined Equiti in August 2023, has transformed the finance function into a strategic business partner, improving cost efficiency and delivering practical financial solutions. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), he will continue to drive operational efficiency and strengthen the financial foundation to support Equiti’s ambitious expansion plans.

CEO’s perspective

Group CEO Iskandar Najjar emphasized that innovation lies at the heart of Equiti’s operations:

“As we expand our presence in global markets, these appointments ensure we remain agile, tech-driven, and client-focused. Sartaj, Rick, and Sean bring the expertise required to lead in fast-changing environments and help us set new standards in trading technology, governance, and performance.”

With these strategic leadership appointments, Equiti Group is well-positioned to continue its innovation agenda, enhance its market presence, and achieve sustainable global growth.
