Trade247 switches to MT5 only

The switch to MT5 reflects the broker’s commitment to offering more advanced technology. MT5 delivers enhanced charting tools, a broader selection of order types and deeper market insights – features that surpass those available in MT4. As industry observers note, MT5 supports algorithmic strategies, multi-asset trading and superior execution capabilities, making it the natural successor to MT4.

Benefits for traders and how It impacts them

Trade247’s transition reinforces its focus on delivering a modern and flexible trading environment. The broker already offers access to over 2000 instruments across forex, stocks, commodities, indices, metals, and cryptocurrencies – via MT5. The MT5 platform is available dedicated for desktop (Windows/Mac), web browser and fully featured mobile apps for both Android and iOS devices, enabling traders to access global markets anytime, anywhere.

While existing MT4 account functionality will be phased out, Trade247 states that client funds and open positions will be securely migrated to the MT5 environment. Traders are encouraged to open an MT5 account if they have not already done so. The move allows Trade247 to unify its infrastructure, enhance execution speed, and offer more sophisticated tools without maintaining two platform ecosystems. It also simplifies user experience: one platform, one account, full multi-asset access.

As Trade247 emphasizes regulation and transparency under its dual licensing regime (UAE’s SCA and Mauritius FSC) combined with the latest MT5 technology, the broker positions itself to serve both retail and professional traders seeking a feature-rich yet streamlined trading solution.
