But we saved everything 🙂.
A recent announcement by Karim Atiyeh reveals the public release of an AI model routing solution initially designed as an internal cost-saving tool.
According to Atiyeh, the platform has scaled rapidly and now routes artificial intelligence for 70,000 customers. The service claims to offer seamless integration, preventing the need for constant code changes even as preferred AI models evolve on a weekly basis.
This development aims to address operational efficiency for both startups and enterprises relying on evolving AI infrastructure.
Atiyeh previously introduced PorTAL, a system that allows task learning to be moved outside model weights for easier AI adaptation across different architectures according to an earlier company announcement. A formal leadership change earlier this year also placed a renewed emphasis on technology and systems design within the organization as confirmed by Atiyeh. These steps align with the company’s ongoing push to refine its AI infrastructure for business customers.
