Humacyte secures Saudi Symvess deal

Humacyte has received a minimum 1.475 million dollar purchase commitment for its Symvess acellular tissue–engineered vessel, to be deployed in a clinical evaluation and outreach program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The initiative aims to boost awareness of Symvess among local healthcare stakeholders. The company intends for the program to increase utilization and engagement with its proprietary vessel technology in the Saudi market.

Humacyte has been seeking to expand access to its Symvess acellular tissue–engineered vessel beyond the U.S. market. The company recently filed for Israeli approval of Symvess as a potential breakthrough option for urgent arterial repair, according to a previous report. These efforts signal a multi-country strategy to advance the vessel's clinical adoption.
