Surmodics presents new Sublime Microcatheter and Pounce Thrombectomy systems at SIR26TOR — Surmodics debuts new devices

Surmodics introduced its latest interventional medical devices, including the Sublime Microcatheter, Pounce Thrombectomy Platform, and Pounce Venous Thrombectomy System, at the SIR26TOR event. These innovations are designed to enhance minimally invasive procedures for vascular intervention specialists.

Attendees at the Society of Interventional Radiology conference had the opportunity to see the new systems firsthand. Surmodics emphasized that these products are intended for prescription use only. Details are being clarified.

Earlier this year, Surmodics demonstrated a 15 minute clot removal using its Pounce Venous Thrombectomy System with tibial access in a clinical case, according to a previous report. The company also launched the Sublime Microcatheter and updated Pounce Thrombectomy systems at the SIRspecialists SIR26TOR event, as covered in earlier coverage. These device introductions target advancements in vascular care and minimally invasive interventions.
