SpaceX readies Falcon 9 launch

SpaceX has rolled out its Falcon 9 rocket to the vertical position at launch pad 4E in California ahead of tonight's scheduled CAS500-2 mission. The rocket is set to lift off during a 37-minute window that opens at 11:59 p.m. PT and will carry 45 payloads into orbit.

The CAS500-2 mission will support a range of customers by delivering multiple satellites and technology payloads on a single flight, reflecting SpaceX's continued momentum in commercial orbital launch services. Tonight's launch underscores the company’s commitment to regular, high-capacity missions from its facilities on the West Coast.

SpaceX has postponed launches in the past, including the Falcon 9 Starlink mission delayed from California to April 6 due to upper-level winds. The company has also prepared for high-capacity flights such as the Falcon Heavy Viasat-3 F3 launch in Florida with an 85-minute window. SpaceX continues to manage both technical and scheduling demands across its launch sites.
