Accuray unveils CyberKnife results

Accuray reported clinical results from Ospedale Isola Tiberina - Gemelli Isola in Rome, where 50 acoustic neuroma patients received treatment using CyberKnife in either one or three fractions.

The data, presented at ESTRO26, indicate that the approach provided excellent dose conformity, minimal toxicity, and encouraging early evidence of tumor control. These findings suggest potential for CyberKnife technology in the management of acoustic neuromas, supporting further study and expanded clinical use.

Accuray has maintained a presence at the ESTRO26 conference, where it offered limited demo slots for its CyberKnife and helical platforms focused on advanced radiation therapy. Earlier at the event, the company also showcased its Radixact system for paediatric radiotherapy. These presentations highlight Accuray’s continued engagement with clinical innovations in radiation treatment.
