Unitil ramps up consumer incentives with 50 dollar rebates for air conditioner and dehumidifier recycling — Unitil starts new rebate drive

Unitil is accelerating its consumer appliance recycling initiative this year following a record turnout in 2025. The company, working in coordination with NHSaves utility partners, is preparing to kick off the newest series of “turn-in” events, where customers can earn a 50 dollar rebate per unit for recycling room air conditioners and dehumidifiers.

This campaign reflects Unitil's ongoing commitment to energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. By encouraging residents to recycle outdated appliances, the program aims to reduce energy consumption, promote responsible disposal, and reward customers for participating.
