Climb Bio reports early ITP data

Climb Bio, Inc. has announced initial results from its Phase 1b clinical trial, revealing that Budoprutug achieved on-target clinical activity in immune thrombocytopenia (ITP).

The data, presented at the EHA Hematology meeting, show Budoprutug delivered robust B cell depletion, a favorable safety and tolerability profile, and encouraging early platelet responses in treated patients. These findings support Budoprutug's potential for further clinical development in the treatment of ITP.

Climb Bio previously reported initial safety and platelet data from its Phase 1b/2a Budoprutug trial in ITP at the EHA congress, highlighting early results from the study (see article). The company also discussed its broader immunology strategy and plans for autoimmune research during a Jefferies fireside chat (see article). Both updates outline Climb Bio’s ongoing clinical and research activities in the autoimmune space.
