Selective follow-up mode in development as Blend Labs, Inc. prioritizes lender customization — Blend Labs, Inc. launches Selective mode

Blend Labs, Inc. is developing a new feature called Selective, aimed at giving lenders more control over which communications are sent directly to borrowers. The new follow-up mode responds to lender demand for greater oversight beyond autopilot processes.

With Selective, only clearly warranted lender requests will be forwarded to borrowers, streamlining loan processing while reducing unnecessary borrower contact. The early preview signals continued product innovation to address customer feedback.

Blend Labs recently powered a digital overhaul at CrossCountry Mortgage with Blend Close, targeting faster and error-free loan closings. The company has also credited its platform improvements with faster turn times for the loan closing process.
