Sunrun Inc. has outlined its commitment to advancing energy independence in the U.S. by deploying home-based energy solutions.

The company emphasized its role in empowering families and supporting the national energy grid, aligning its mission with broader American values on Independence Day. Sunrun Inc. aims to drive greater resilience and opportunity through clean energy adoption, helping households strengthen both their own energy security and the country's energy landscape.

Sunrun has previously announced that more than 33,000 customers are directly supporting the Puerto Rico power grid with solar and battery systems, according to a company statement. In a separate initiative, Sunrun partnered with Renew Home and Tesla to deliver 16.8 gigawatts of distributed energy involving millions of homes in the U.S., as detailed in a recent collaboration. These efforts follow the company's broader push to expand energy resilience and clean power adoption.
